Award is given to an organization that embodies and puts into action their mission
VENTURA, Calif.; Oct. 23, 2023 – ABS Kids has been named as Children’s Service Provider of the Year as part of the 2023 Autism Society Ventura County (ASVC) Awesome in Autism Awards. Annually, ASVC’s award program celebrates those in the community who embody and put into action their mission. ABS Kids was recognized amongst other organizations and individuals who have gone above and beyond to support and empower the autism community at a ceremony on Thursday.
ABS Kids has provided applied behavior analysis (ABA) services for more than a decade and has been providing support for Ventura County since 2018 through its:
- ABA therapy center
- Autism diagnosis clinic
- ABA therapy at home and school
- Community integrations, including local events and festivals
“Our in-house psychologists work hard every day to diagnose ASD at a young age so our behavior analysts and technicians can deliver treatment to improve children’s communication, social interactions, and cognitive learning,” said ABS Kids Clinical Operations Director Scott Revlin, MA, BCBA. “We understand the importance of children, and their families, reaching their full potential, and we are honored to be recognized for excellence in ABA therapy and for providing children with the highest quality of care in the area. I think it speaks to our team’s dedication to serving this community.”
