Public Is Invited to Opening Event on Saturday, May 4
PROVO, Utah; April 24, 2024 – ABS Kids, a leading provider of services to children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), is hosting a public event — Sensory-Friendly May the 4th Be With You on Saturday, May 4, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. MDT — to celebrate the upcoming opening of its newest applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy center in Provo. Attendees will get a preview of the new center, located at 585 E 1860 S, Provo, UT 84606, which officially opens its doors on May 6. The center will offer high-quality ABA therapy and autism diagnosis services to children in the local community. This expansion adds another option for Utah families on top of several ABS Kids ABA therapy centers that opened across the state last year.
The Sensory-Friendly May the 4th Be With You event will be fun for the whole family, including face painting, arts and crafts, and more. Beyond its therapy centers, ABS Kids regularly organizes important group experiences and sensory-friendly and structured playtime events, such as this, for children with ASD and their families to advocate for the greater autism community.
“Our mission is to make a positive difference in the lives of children with autism, and this new ABA center will allow us to reach even more families in need of high-quality therapy and diagnostic services,” said ABS Kids Executive Vice President Mellanie Page M.Ed., BCBA. “Providing access to this care is part of our vision, and we are striving to meet that increasing need in Utah with centers in 12 cities across the state. Like other locations, this new center in Provo is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, resources and experts to deliver personalized and compassionate care to each child.”
